Aerial Filming

Drone filming completes our production services.

Modern drone technology allows us to provide excellent aerial filming at affordable rates.  WLM can add those fantastic aerial shots we are all used to seeing to your video project. With 5 years of drone filming experience we know how to do it right.

We provide aerial filming services for a wide range of client needs and applications with a variety of resolutions and filming methods such as slow-mo, time-lapses and 4K footage.

We lucky enough to be there when the famed Bluenose II schooner performed a sail past at Peggy's Cove on July 10th 2022.

This short cinematic vignette is composed of the best segments taken from the drone footage we managed to get as it happened.

If seaing this doesn’t make you proud to be a Nova Scotian, I don’t know what will.

In most cases we include drone footage with our clients projects but we do also offer this as a stand alone service.

If we are not droning as part of a larger project, our usual fee for a 20 minute video flight is $295 (plus tax) per flight and this includes providing H.265 or H.265 color corrected footage.

(At WLM, we avoid giving out raw footage where we offer professional editing services.)

Peggy's Cove is the iconic Nova Scotian landmark.

Our new drone has many professional features like object tracking and selectable filming modes.

The onboard camera is capable of high quality 4K 60fps filming and slow mo 120fps footage.

FYI: Point tracking shots must be filmed in 2.7K.

In most cases aerial filming is an essential component of any complete production project these days, but we do also offer this as a stand alone service.

If not part of a larger project, we usually charge $249 (plus tax) per flight and includes post production color grading.

Additional post production services and travelling fees may be required.
